Welcome to Hillcrest Farm, where family dogs meet the thrill of the hunt! Founded in 2016 by Judd and Dayna Latham, our farm is nestled in the heart of Minnesota. We pride ourselves on raising Labrador Retrievers that seamlessly blend into family life while excelling in hunting adventures.
At Hillcrest, every pup is more than just a dog; they're a cherished family member. Our puppies are nurtured with love, socialized from the start, and given the individual attention they need to grow into exceptional companions and skilled hunters.
Meet the Latham Family
Judd
Judd is a lifelong Lab enthusiast and avid hunter with a deep passion for the outdoors and conservation. As a retired Law Enforcement Officer, he now dedicates his time to cleaning kennels and training dogs full-time. Judd specializes in everything GUN DOG, building a strong foundation of obedience and introducing dogs to gunfire and birds the right way.
Dayna
A true Minnesota farm girl, Dayna has been surrounded by cattle, hogs, chickens, horses, and dogs her entire life. Her love for puppy whelping and care shines through in every litter. Dayna excels in puppy bootcamp, dog obedience, and socialization, ensuring each puppy is crate trained, potty trained, and well-socialized. She keeps the farm running smoothly, maintains the health of our dogs, and keeps Judd on schedule. Dayna is also the friendly voice behind our emails, texts, and social media.
